On 19 October 2002 Tony Kimbrough and Lisa Tidwell took the vows of matrimony.  We wish them all the best in the years to come.  Way to go Tony!

On the 9th of April  at 9:11 pm Kailey Alice Newman was born to proud parents Sarah and Greg Newman.  Weighing in at 7 lbs. 12 oz. with a head full of hair Kailey is a wonderful addition to their home and hearts.  We all wish them all the best.

Pictures of our 1999 Open House

During April 1998 SR&R held its fourth annual Customer Appreciation Day and Open House.  Our newly completed Mobile Command Trailer, Hazmat Emergency Response Van and other recently acquired equipment was on display.  This year's event was the largest ever with the food, fellowship and weather being absolutely great.  I apologize for the lack of pictures but our chief photographer (me) was having such a great time he forgot to use the camera hanging around his neck.  Make plans to attend next year's event and remind me to take a few pictures.

On 18 April 1997 SR&R held its third annual Customer Appreciation Open House. This is an excellent opportunity for our customers and friends to meet some of the people "behind the scenes" and view our equipment. Over 200 people attended this year's event. Plans are already being made for our fourth luncheon in 1998. Stay tuned for details.

On 21 April 1997 SR&R held the ground breaking ceremony for its new 6,000 square feet addition to its shops and warehouses. Three new drive through bays were added for storage and maintenance of the response and industrial service equipment held in inventory.

On 2 July 1997 SR&R purchased our first wet/dry vacuum truck (S-32). It is a 1996 Cusco Mastervac 3127 which has a 3,500 gallon Stainless Steel DOT rated tank. The blower is rated at 3,500 cubic feet per minute and will add additional versatility to the many services offered. It also can be used for AFVR when needed. This expands our  fleet to four trucks to serve our many customers. Keep checking our web site for pictures of S-32.

During the fourth quarter of 1997 SR&R became one of only twelve (12) contractors approved for emergency response to CSX Transportation incidents.

Thanks to all of our customers and employees, without their support none of our growth and expansion during the last two years would have been possible.
