Southeast Response & Remediation, Inc (SR&R) was founded in July 1991 by Cathy and Bill Murrell and is a privately owned and operated company located at 4920 US Highway 421 North in Wilmington, NC. Cathy Murrell is President and Chief Executive Officer giving SR&R a woman owned small business designation.

Though located in southeast North Carolina our equipment and personnel routinely travel to industrial and remedial projects in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia. Since incorporation SR&R has experienced steady growth by providing dependable, professional and timely service to our customers. This level of service has assisted in the continual growth of our customer base.

SR&R has vacuum trucks, hydro blasters, pneumatic pumps, confined space entry equipment, frac tanks, supplied air systems, self-contained breathing apparatus, tanker trailers, dump trailers, road tractors and service trucks. Presently two of our vacuum trucks are stainless steel allowing an extreme amount of versatility to our customers for handling caustics and acids.

The addition of S-32 a CUSCO MASTERVAC unit which handles both wet and dry material; greatly expanded our abilities. The tank and piping of this truck is stainless steel increasing its versatility.

This truck has greatly increased our ability to provide industrial services. Both trucks are DOT approved allowing safe transportation of waste to treatment and disposal facilities. These are but two of our trucks available to our customers.

All SR&R personnel are trained by independent subcontractors and receive all required annual refresher training. Technicians are trained in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120, Confined Space Entry, CPR and first aid along with equipment specific training as required. Copies of training documentation are available for review.

Aggressive Fluid Vapor Recovery (AFVR) is a technology that is used for rapid recovery of liquid phase hydrocarbons such as gasoline or diesel fuel. AFVR uses a high-pressure vacuum to recover both fluids groundwater and liquid phase hydrocarbons) and vapor phase hydrocarbons from monitoring or recovery wells. This method has proven to be extremely cost effective in the treatment of groundwater contamination.
